Join in on an up-tempo 25 to 60 mile ride through the local country roadss. We leave at 7:15 A.M.
from the shop, and ride for at least two hours. A helmet is a requirerment.

The Pequot Cyclists Club is a non profit all-volunteer bicycling club centered in southeastern Connecticut (New London county). We presently have over 400 members. Our objectives include providing year round cycling opportunities conducted in a friendly and social atmosphere.    While we do enjoy fitness through cycling, we are a recreational club, not a racing club. Our Newsletter Provides a ride calendar and articles and news about cycling of interest to our membership. We invite you to ride with us to see if we meet your cycling needs. Rides are open to anyone wearing a helmet. Minors must be accompanied by an adult. To join, please fill out and mail our Membership form,  For more information, contact one of the Club Officers.   Meetings are held the first Tuesday of each month in a meeting room of the GROTON Public Library (Jan.--June).   And East Lyme Library  (July--Dec.).   We begin at 7:00 PM and the meeting is open to the public.

The Mohegan Striders "The Mohegan Striders Running Club, a group devoted to the furtherance of long distance running and racewalking as a healthful form of exercise and competition, has been formed. The Striders have applied for and received an official Connecticut AAU charter which recognizes it a s a member club. As such, the Striders are able to hold AAU sanctioned events related to long or medium distance road races and racewalking events.

Bike Guy , Bill Humphreys is the president of Bike Guy LLC a sports marketing/event management and consulting company specializing in all aspects of Cycling. Bill has over 30 years of successful, sales, marketing, event and team management in this arena.

Tabbed “The Bike Guy” while competing in his first stage (multi-day) race, The Tour de L’ Est. in Quebec, Canada, Bill went on to pioneer the modern day team position of “domestique” for the Raleigh CRCofA and US National Road Teams.
